About Us
Alexandria Balloon Flights (ABF) was started about 20 years ago
by Kevin Olsen.
Over the years ballooning has provided us with a myriad of adventures
and experiences. Some of the more memorable of these include flying
in Northern France with the Forbes Magazine Balloon Team; co-organizing
a balloon festival out of Central Park in NYC; and flying the title
balloon for Canon Cameras at the world's largest international balloon
fiesta in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Last year we celebrated flying our 10,000th delighted balloon passenger.
We are also very proud of our “chase crew.” These are
the people who help us get the balloon inflated and launched. They
also follow your flight in our chase vehicle and assist in landing
and packing up. They pride themselves in their efficiency and contribute
greatly to the safety and enjoyment of your flight.
So, you can feel confident that you are in very experienced hands
when flying with us. We try to make every flight a special one for
our passengers.
